Are you feeling lost in your acting career? At auditions do you make the short list but don’t land the role? Are you wondering why? Would you like to work in the UK but need some advice and guidance on how to get started? How about getting some honest and constructive advice from a respected industry professional?

Filmbase is delighted to announce the first in a series of one-to-one Actors’ Career Advice days starting on Friday, 29th September. In private, actors will receive career advice in a one-to-one session that is focused on the actors unique needs and goals.

The session will look at where you are now and where you want to be. In taking part in our private one-to-one sessions you will be able to recognise where you are in your career which will help you to address specific areas that need more attention or have slipped under the radar.

Knowing where you want to be and playing to your strengths is very important. Have you really sat down and thought about where that is and how you’ll achieve it? Our one-to-one career advice sessions will help you get clear about you goals and objectives.

These half-hour sessions offer a relaxed and supportive environment in which to get some honest answers. Topics include, but are not limited to, CVs and headshots, agents, showreels, voicereels, letter writing, marketing strategy and getting work in the UK.
