This two part studio photography course combines both the practice and theory of studio portrait photography and photo editing. Day one is designed to give a basic but creative introduction to studio lighting ranging from flash photography to continuous lighting, while day two covers how to edit and process your images.

Course Content:

There will be plenty of hands on practice shooting portraits in the studio with a model, tips on lens choice, composition and how to control flash in different studio lighting scenarios.

Day two will focus on photo processing. Students will edit their images using Adobe’s Photoshop & Bridge on an iMac.

This course is suitable for photographers who are comfortable working with their DSLR cameras in manual settings.
