Filmbase and Screen Training Ireland are pleased to launch In The Writers Room 2 with Matthew Carnahan Creator/Showrunner of Emmy award-winning Showtime series HOUSE OF LIES. This unique course aims to provide an introduction to Television Series Concept Development via an intensive project based programme.
Participants are asked to apply with a 1 page outline which they wish to develop for either drama or comedy.

-Format.
-Genre.
-Story Generation
-Character Development.
-Audience.
-Writing Pitches and bibles.
-Markets.
-Representation.

As this is a workshop-based course, places are extremely limited.

Experienced writers and development personnel who wish to develop a television series concept. Applicants must have a minimum of one professional screenwriting or development credit.
